jack attack
i just had to post these pictures of my godson jack because he's so freakin cute i can't even take it. he lives in chicago, and last time i got out there to visit him and his folks i showed up at their place dressed in my dinosaur costume that i had made for halloween. being so far away, we had talked about our halloween costumes (he was an elephant), and had a blast ROARING together over the phone... so i thought it the only appropriate way to show up having not seen him for a couple months. jack was really excited about this, and once in their apartment he got a chance to run around in my costume as well. miss you jack! see you soon buddy!

the Nohoch Mul pyramid of the Pre-Columbian Maya civilization Coba located in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is approximately 140 ft. tall, and there are about 120 stairs leading up to the temple at the top. It is the tallest pyriamid of the Yucaton Peninsula.Below is a view of the same structure from ground level... this perspective is slightly distorting as to how high and steep nohoch mul really is (you get a better idea in the picture above). once you're about half way up those stairs though you really begin to feel the elevation more accurately (we climbed to the top last week. it was incredible.)
